
I have knowledge and leadership in designing monitoring, reporting, learning and evaluation frameworks for the implementation of long term projects. I have worked with a variety of evaluation techniques – theory based evaluations, realist evaluations, results chains and causality, working with RCT data, quantitative analysis, mixed methods, surveys and focus groups. The work has focussed on evaluation for accountability and learning for future programme design, including knowledge capture and disemination. Valsa recently took the full time position as M&E team leader for the Climate Resilient Infrastructure Development Facility (CRIDF) 2013 to 2015 based in South Africa.

Several annual reviews, mid term reviews and project completion reports, independent action research evaluations and independent evaluations spanning various sectors. Recent sectors focus for evaluation work has been humanitarian sector, low carbon development, research and evidence, child nutrition and behaviour change, adolescent girls’ platforms, animal health sector.
